Leena, no one on the planet makes videos as beautiful as yours. They touch my soul, and yes, leave me breathless. The unexpected waterfall, the translucent waters of the ocean, the jagged majestic mountains are just stunning in their beauty. To me, they speak of a Creator-God. All of this beauty did not just happen. God speaks to us through His incomparable works of nature, and I am thankful.

Norway’s nature is absolutely beautiful. The woods, fields, mountains, rivers and lakes are breathtaking.
Absolutely, and Norway has put a ban on deforestation, which is possible because they are not in the claws of the destructive EU. Norway is amazing.
You are lucky to live in a fairyland on one hand, compensated by living there is hard compared to more developed cities further south where you could be more contributing to society thru activities of lasting value to others. Your choice is an interesting one but not for everyone for sure. Good luck.
Everyone who lives or has lived there, knows Norway is a slice of heaven on earth. One must actually be there to grasp this. I remember so well how shocked I was when first seeing its breathtaking beauty. Always love reliving my year's there through your video's 🇺🇲🇧🇻

Leena, als du gesagt hast, es ist verrückt wie unsere Vorstellungen uns hindern können, die Schönheit der Natur zu sehen, musste ich weinen… 😓 Ich bin auch Fotografin und mit diesem Satz hast du meinen diesjährigen Urlaub beschrieben… wir haben einen Roadtrip hier in der Schweiz gemacht und ich war sauer über “nicht passendes Wetter”, statt mich einfach an der Natur zu erfreuen… dadurch hab ich mir eigentlich meinen eigenen Urlaub vermiest 🥺 aber du hast mir gerade wirklich die Augen geöffnet… im nächsten Urlaub lasse ich mich einfach darauf ein was kommt und stelle keine Vorstellungen “von den perfekten Aufnahmen” mehr in meinem Kopf auf. Danke für diese Message. Ich war noch nie so frustriert von einem Urlaub wie dieses Jahr… 😓 Das darf nicht nochmal vorkommen. Last year I moved to northern Norway from central Europe on a whim and it has been the best decision of my life. You won't believe it anyway, but it "only" takes a decision, the rest sorts itself out as you go.

Ihr Lieben, vielen Dank für das wunderschöne Video. Nebel ist das schönste aller Wetter, Nebel erschafft Inseln um einen herum, die nur für einen allein sind, in diesem Moment, lebst du nur diesen Moment, absolute Stille, auch in einem selbst, alles reduziert sich auf sich Selbst. Wir fahren in 2 Wochen nach Nordschweden mit dem Van und ich hoffe sehr sehr auf Nebeltage :-) Die Lofoten sind wundervoll, leider konnten wir sie im letzten Jahr nicht wirklich geniessen, da unser Hund Leopold 5 Tage dort in der Dyreklinik lag. Es ist ja witzig, dass Joachim in Tromsö studiert hat, meine Tochter wollte es auch (vor 10 Jahren)....und sie freute sich auf die Nordlichter....und hatte den Studienplatz bereits in der Tasche, als wir dann mitbekamen, dass Norwegen ja nicht Bafög gefördert ist, mussten wir alles absagen. Sie hat dann in Den Haag studiert. Wir sind letztes Jahr aber auch an Tromsö vorbei gefahren, da wir ja schnellstens in die Tierklinik mussten. Wir vermeiden auch Städte, aber da ich die Kirche von Tromsö einmal, ohne sie gesehen zu haben, als Auftrag malen musste, hätte ich sie mir gern live angesehen. Bald sind wir also in Abrisko und von dort ist es ja nur ein Katzensprung auf die Lofoten, mal sehen, vielleicht machen wir einen kleinen Abstecher, jetzt wo ich die schönen Bilder sehe......alles Liebe euch weiterhin! I’ve always wanted to go to Norway and Sweden now too because of Jonna Jinton’s videos. Finland too. Such beautiful countries. And to be able to share it with a loved one and pet, both being amazed by and enjoying God’s creation, together. You are blessed. I want to cry, wishing I had someone to share life with. Appreciate every moment together.

I was fortunate enough many years ago to take a coastal steamer along the coast of Norway from Tromsø to Bergen. I saw the sun dip below the horizon briefly before rising again. It really is a different world even from my vantage point then. The energy shift from the scene where you’re sitting on the bench in Tromsø to standing by the van with your dog was startlingly dramatic. Really amazing.

Liebe Lena, jedes deiner Videos ist so besonders, dass ich immer wieder versinke und Gänsehaut bekomme. Es ist wie Meditation und ich bin so inspiriert, wie du die Welt sieht und auch wie du deine Videos schneidest. Wie passend du den Ausschnitt aus der Stadt vom Ton her gestaltet hast. Ich habe richtig erleichtert aufgeatmet, als ihr wieder bei eurem Van in der Natur wart, weil die Stadt zwar schön, aber auch etwas anstrengend war. So geht es mir auch oft. Danke für deine, für eure Arbeit - du inspirierst mich sehr (ich bin auf dem Weg zur Video-&Fotografin)

I did a midnight walk in Nuuk, Greenland earlier this year. For someone who grew up in the Southern Hemisphere, where the length of day does not differ a lot between the seasons, it was incredible. Your video makes we want to go to Norway now and see the midnight sun there too!

Remember that winters are not like June. While summers are amazing, winters are too dark in Northern Norway.
